Saturday December 8 and Saturday December 15 at 10:40 a.m., WUNC presents the “WUNC Pop-Up Music Club,” a Humanities Council grant-funded project. The series of radio programs feature impromptu performances from singers Tshombe Shelby of Manteo on December 8 and Kevin Roughton of the Outer Banks on December 15. There will also be commentary about the culture of the places they call home, informed by humanities scholar Barbara Garity-Blake.
