About the Call: North Carolina Humanities and the South Carolina State Library are seeking published authors and poets of works which explore placemaking and identity in the Carolinas to be featured in a limited virtual ‘author talk’ series through summer 2021.
Author Criteria: Authors’ work must be published within the last year (2020 or 2021) and have connections to North or South Carolina. The author can be connected to the above states by meeting one or more of the following:
- Being born/raised in NC and/or SC
- Currently living in NC or SC
- The setting of their work is NC and/or SC
- Their work being published in either NC or SC
Interested?: If you are interested in submitting your book for consideration, please complete the electronic submission form by April 12, 2021. Please note that completing and submitting this form does not guarantee selection.
