Free Book Kits Available for Teachers and Librarians

North Carolina Humanities, home to the North Carolina Center for the Book, is pleased to feature The Edge of Anything by Nora Shalaway Carpenter as its Discover Great Places Through Reading book list selection for 2021. Discover Great Places Through Reading highlights books for children and young readers from across the nation and is featured during the Library of Congress National Book Festival.
To celebrate this year’s selection, North Carolina Humanities is providing 20 free book kits for teachers and school librarians in North Carolina! Book kits can be used for curriculum or after school/youth programs and include 20 copies of The Edge of Anything, discussion guide with multidisciplinary instructional ideas, humanities card question set, and other surprise goodies!

Book kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
