Join us for a delightful afternoon where you will enjoy a delicious three-course lunch while listening to captivating stories about NC Humanities’ meaningful work. This in-person only event promises an intimate gathering where you can connect with fellow humanities enthusiasts, make new friends, and be inspired.
You’ll enjoy musical performances, book giveaways, and more as we celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our state over a shared meal together. Plus, each ticket comes with a unique tote bag filled with NC Humanities swag, and a printed issue and musical CD featuring the work of Clyde Edgerton, both from our sponsor, North Carolina Literary Review.
The afternoon’s program will culminate with the very special presentation of the 2023 John Tyler Caldwell Award for the Humanities to author, activist, and musician Clyde Edgerton. As a lifelong storyteller, Clyde will close out the program with a memorable musical performance.
Come for an unforgettable experience! We hope you will join us in support of NC Humanities’ work to expand understanding, respect, and empathy for each other’s stories and experiences in communities around the state.
