Rusty brings many years of finance and administration expertise to her position. She oversees North Carolina Humanities’ financial operations including transactions, record keeping, and document preparation. After a long and varied career as an auditor, programmer analyst, direct marketer, and manager, Rusty used her skills and experience at International House in Charlotte for 12 years. Initially the business manager and, eventually, Executive Director, she retired in 2020 and is delighted to now share her experience and passion with the North Carolina Humanities team.
