North Carolina Humanities is supporting the faculty and staff of community colleges, colleges, and universities in North Carolina.
Our new summer Fellowship program provides individual humanities researchers with access to funding opportunities in North Carolina’s higher education sector. Fellowships are designed to allow recipients the opportunity to step away from their busy workloads and complete or further research for up to two consecutive summer months.
North Carolina Humanities Fellowships are only available to individuals.
About Our Fellowships
Fellowships support continuous full or part-time work on a humanities project for a period of two consecutive summer months. Funds support recipient’s compensation related to the proposed scholarly research. Funding requests may be up to $8,000.
