Volunteer

Become a volunteer Board Trustee!

North Carolina Humanities annually seeks nominations to join its dynamic and dedicated volunteer board of trustees.

North Carolina Humanities’ board is composed of volunteer trustees who are committed to enhancing the cultural life of North Carolinians and whose background, expertise, and leadership provide NC Humanities with the tools to be dynamic and successful. Trustees serve a three-year term and five trustees are appointed by the Governor of North Carolina. Nominees must be current residents of North Carolina at the start of their service and be supportive of NC Humanities’ mission and values. Self-nominations and nominations of others are accepted.

If you are interested in nominating someone to join our board or in joining our board yourself, please contact nchea@nchumanities.org for more information.
