Our Board
North Carolina Humanities’ operations are managed by the executive director and overseen by a volunteer board of trustees. Trustees serve a renewable three-year term, and five trustees are appointed by the Governor of North Carolina. NC Humanities’ board is composed of trustees who are committed to enhancing the cultural life of North Carolinians and whose background, expertise, and leadership provide NC Humanities with the tools to be effective and successful.
