Local History Librarian Joel Reese will be discussing the African American churches in Iredell County that have cemeteries and the historical significance of these sites. Some are abandoned and others are still active, but they all hold a piece of Black history that tell the story of a strong community.
Diane Faison has been enchanting audiences for years with her one-woman show depicting the most inspiring historical voice for abolition: Harriet Tubman. This program is for all ages, including families.
