This history club at Chocowinity Middle School in Chocowinity, NC, will host a Black History Month Was Museum. Students from the club were able to choose African American characters of their choice and pose as frozen statues throughout the school. When someone comes up and presses a pretend button, they will be they will start talking about the chosen character. The Black Oral Histories Project will have a display table along with the Washington Waterfront Underground Railroad Musuem.
