Description: The Southern Highland Craft Guild presents an immersive conference celebrating Appalachian heritage and culture. This event features master craftspeople, emerging artists, musicians, and storytellers exploring craft as a tool for understanding Appalachian identity. Highlights include panel discussions, live demonstrations, and musical performances. Featured speakers include Jim McDowell, Marie Cochran, Davy Arch, and Lyle Wheeler. Sponsored in part by a grant from NC Humanities.
