This kick-off event is free and open to the public. Located at the Erwin Center in the Highland Neighborhood, Curator Alicyn Wiedrich will present initial thoughts, research, and ideas to the local black community for their input and feedback. This will also serve as a brainstorming session and a way to gauge what resources (objects, photographs, documents, etc.) are available in the community for display. We will also introduce out community advisory committee and community curator liaison.
All event dates and times are listed as they were submitted to NC Humanities. We recommend reaching out to the event organization listed to confirm details. Have an event to submit?
