Making A Way Out Of No Way Exhibit Debut

June 20 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free
Please join us for the debut of Making A Way Out of No Way – a new digital exhibit curated by The Stagville Memorial Project, in partnership with North Carolina Central University, and the Durham County Library. Making A Way Out of No Way explores the contributions made by descendants of those formerly enslaved on Stagville Plantation to Durham’s community and culture post-emancipation and into the 1920’s. The event is happening at the Durham County Library after hours and will be catered by Melanated Wines.

This exhibit is made possible by generous funding from Villanova University’s Lepage Center and the North Carolina Humanities, the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. www.nchumanities.org
