This month, and throughout the year, we celebrate the power that books, museums, poetry, performance, art, and culture have in helping us explore what it means to be human.

At North Carolina Humanities we connect people to each other and to the stories, histories, and cultures of North Carolina through our free programs like our North Carolina Reads statewide book club, special events, and humanities project grant funding opportunities.
