Series Launch Overview
Join us for the virtual launch of Scotland In Our Backyard, a grant-funded video series crafted to bring Scottish heritage to life—whether you’re teaching in a North Carolina classroom or exploring Scottish culture with your young learners at home! Dive into Scots Gaelic language, Highland piping, folklore, dance, and more—complete with downloadable activity sheets and teaching guides.


Release Schedule

  • Episode 1 On-Demand: Starting on June 16, 2025 at 10:00 AM ET

  • YouTube Premiere & Live Chat Q&A: June 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM ET

  • Episodes 2–12 Drip Release: One new episode goes live each day at 10:00 AM ET from June 17 through June 28, 2025

  • On-Demand Viewing: Every episode remains available immediately after its release

  • YouTube Premiere: Synchronized countdown playback and live chat Q&A for Episode 1

  • Live Chat Q&A: Ask questions in the YouTube chat during the Premiere—our production team will respond in real time

  • On-Demand Viewing: All episodes can be watched at your convenience once released
